Any time an add starts with "Big Ass" that is a sign to stay clear!

Seriously, the looked like stacked PA speakers to me. I don't see anything of value personally - especially at the price he is asking. Someone else may chime in with a different (more knowledgeable) opinion.

It appears the seller is (in) high (point) based on the far out writing style.

The JBL scoops are what I was curious about.

They're not JBL scoops.

They might have JBL drivers in them, but they're not even close to a 4520 cabinet in construction, or probably in sound.

If they could be bought right, i'd be on the Peavey 118 internationals tho.

Thanks Bowtie, I figured you would know the "scoop".

I'd wager those would make for a decent stage set-up, but will probably be weighted towards vocals and guitar... the highs and lows will be sacrificed some, and not make for a great hi-fi setup.
