I have his very first LP which i love.Pat is a genius and he seems like a really cool guy too,The only thing with him is i wish he'd change up the sound of his guitar sometimes.Some of his stuff if you didn't know it was guitar you'd swear it was a keyboard.But,that's just a personal preference of mine.

Yeah, his guitar-synth (whatever he uses to get his sound) sounds just like a keyboard... His music would be utterly different without his signature sound...
The next album you should get is "Secret Story".... trust me...

That’s what makes it interesting for me. That said. I believe those early albums are more interesting than the later albums

He’s certainly one who got me listening to guitar music in a different way. Along with Grant Green and Lee Ritenour started a long rabbit hole journey that’s still going on lol

I wish we'd hear from @SonofJames sometimes.Good guy with a great LP library.We found out my wife has some new health issues that are going to put a real crimp in my posting i'm thinking.Nothing life threatening that we know of but,life altering for sure.But,still it's cool to check in every so often and let the guys know we're still kicking.

@vinnie747 Sorry to hear about the wife's health issues. If I recall she has been dealing with an issue for a while. Hope this is something that isn't permanent at at least very manageable!

Watched a couple Hee Haw episodes lately. Ole Buck was killing it. My dad was a big fan

Folks that only know Buck from his Hee Haw Days or his Collaborations with Dwight seriously need to search out his 1960s output with the Buckaroos.

As a musician that is very cool. As a listener I kind of liked it the old way. Hearing it first on the radio or word of mouth. Waiting outside the record store. It added something to it. We can just hit a button and hear the whole album now. Takes something away from it for me

Whoa. That looks like the playlist for the old 93KHJ in Los Angeles. I was 10 years old. I remember a bunch of those tunes. That was a great summer
