With the management that we have in place, I definitely feel better about moving on from a pitcher of his calibre than in the past. The only guy that l don't miss on that list that you posted was David Price. Good riddance to that bum! He made a big production (negatively) about coming to Detroit and ultimately did 5/8 of F-A once he got here.
Good luck to Skubal, I hope he gets the money he wants. We can definitely spend that money better on this "team" in Detroit.

I find anyone who supports paying sums like this to a bunch of jocks somewhat lacking in critical thinking... it's disgusting... and I've heard all the arguments over and over... it's just obscene that sums of money like that get paid to conceited jocks... *dons teflon underwear and armoured suit*... C'mon guys, even you sports fanatics have to disagree with the insane fees structures??? It only drives your ticket prices into the hundreds of dollars!?!? :dunno:

Thats why I just watch on TV....and to be real honest...if they want to pay me millions to do my job...I'm takin it.

Nutty, it's hardly a secret that the entire entertainment industry, that includes professional sports, has been absolutely hijaked and was ruined many years ago. Everything is overpriced from brussel sprouts to Bruno Mars tickets these days. Believe me, I don't like getting fleeced for tickets for anything and l don't.
However, what people spend their money on, and how much they care to spend on it, is completely their prerogative.
I agree with you but I don't judge anybody on how they spend their entertainment dollars.
