What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

When we snuck into the 1984 Frank Zappa concert on Winter Island, Salem MA we got front & center about 30' from the stage.
(Try sneaking onto an island without getting your feet wet. We did it.)
The guys next to us had made a DIY banner about 10 feet long attached to posts to hoist it but they were too pussy to hoist it.
It said "Frank, Shut Up And Play Your Guitar!"
Me & my friends commandeered it and hoisted it a few times but only a few because it was kind of obnoxious to ppl behind us.
Helluva show.
It had been raining on/off for hours. It was delayed. Frank made it stop raining. No sht.

Now days i don't hit the record store much anymore because the only good one left is in Dearborn and that's not a place i particularly want to be.But,you can find most Classic Rock there for around $5.99 to $11.99.Double LP's go for $15.99 and up.I did pay like $20 bucks for beautiful copies of Layla and Blonde On Blonde.Jazz will always be priced higher for the most part.
Where they really jack the prices is on NWOBHM and i'm not paying $50 plus for a copy of Powerslave or Live After Death no matter how bad i want them. :rflmao:
We've gotta meet up in Dearborn for some record browsing one of these days.

Here is my little library, the rest of about 3500 volumes back in around 2005.

There is of course a system in this room as well. You can see the turntable on the bottom, left.

The system is this one:

1975 Bang & Olufsen "Beogram 4004" (refurbished MMC20EN)
1982 Sony "CDP101" with the original woodcase
1961 Bang & Olufsen tube amplifier "608"
1961 Bang & Olufsen four way speakers "S 607"

Happy Friday afternoon!! :bye: I hope all is going well for everyone here. I started the rutabaga/carrot mash at 9:30am this morning and finished doing the dishes about an hour ago. Four rutabagas the size of a 5 pin bowling ball and 2 10lb bags of carrots peeled diced, cooked, mashed, mixed together with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. I had cook half of each twice in two pots because that's all I have. The end result
