Done with the bench today. Finished the Revox A77 (or as far as I plan on taking it). Started in on the Moscode 600. It works and sounds wonderful, but there's a wee bit of popping and the fan clicks into high really fast. Clean tube pins and sockets to address the popping (I hope). Pulled the output transistors off and the heat sink paste is baked drier than the Sahara. It's more baked than @painttoad . So all 16 output devices will be getting new paste. 8 are super easy to get to. For the other 8 I might have to take the whole dam fan and heat sink assembly out. Blergh.
Now for a listening session and a martini.

Some Belgian brew this evening. Was surprised to see it on my local shelves. 6 six packs sitting there so I happily grabbed me one.Was tempted to grab them all...but didn't want to be a greed bastard.
