What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

We were not so well off. My Dad told me if I wanted a car I needed to get one for myself. 1975 I bought a 1964 Galaxie 500 from my neighbor for $15. Was missing some front end parts. Had my Dad take me to the junk yard and I found one and bought the parts for $75. By the time I was 16 it was road ready. Drove it til I left for the Navy at 18.
That's funny i bought a '68 Galaxie 500 from my good buddy when i was in my 20's just after i got married for $25 bucks. That thing was a tank and drove like a boat.I got pictures around here somewhere.:dunno:

Interesting chessboard. Does it get a little confusing telling the frosted pieces from the clear ones in mid-game?

Thanks and have a cool, comfortable Saturday!

Never played chess on that board. Its my girlfriend's and she uses it for decoration as she does not play. I do see your point. :)

:bye: Happy Saturday my friends. :) I hope all is well. I've been to busy to log on since I got home from the trailer on Tuesday. I'm heading for the trailer tomorrow and back on Wednesday. I've got a 113 pages as of now to get caught up on. Listening to this tape which I purchased a few weeks back from a thrift store for the first time. So far so good. I always like John Hiatt.

I bought this stand for $40 from Facebook Market place for my son inlaw's setup. I goofed with the purchase because the guy measured the shelf width outside of the pillars instead of the inside of the pillars. I freaked when I measured those distances because its going to be a shoe horn fit. I tested the fit by placing a Yamaha RX-V1900 (he has the RX-V1800 which have identical dimensions) and it fits...sort of.. like a tshirt that has shrunk somewhat and is trying to cover a beer belly.
