Strange day today- I was called by the bionic bitch from work telling me not to come in today as there was a police presence on site... we have our own armed security force as well... found out someone got stabbed in the next town over yesterday (only 6 kms. away... So the police shut down that town and my town, and called a stay-in!! The hwy was pretty much empty all day!!! All the businesses were shut down as well!!! What an over-reaction!!!! Yeah, my daughter told me about the stabbing in Deep River. Did the woman survive. I spoke to my daughter yesterday (Friday) and they still havent caught the person.

My Mom made the most incredible Mac'n'cheese! Truly epic- heavy breaded crust with onions (very finely chopped) and real chedder cheese! The crust was browned and slighty buttery.... to die for!!! :) :)
