Would have loved to see them live. Grand Funk is one of the bands that got me paying attention to music and buying albums

I still think they were America's best damn Rock'n'Roll band!!! All excellent musicians too!! Mel on bass was one of the best bass players I've heard, Don on drums was a monster, and of course Mark as front-man was killer! I believe they were all session players when they were assembled by the recording company, and they took off immediately! Much beloved by fans and hated by stupid, stupid reviewers... well they can kiss my azz!

And Saga and Goddo were awesome bands! Particularly Saga, who still have a never ending run of original tunes, and a unique sound! Amazing musicians too!

I think I'm done with Audiokarma. After 21+ years of membership, it simply isn't the same.
I'm tired of feeling like I'm under scrutiny at every turn--if a track posted has a lyric that's the least bit controversial, it's removed. If I add my opinion to a thread, it gets removed. Gotta fit the narrative or else!
It just started to feel like I was in the 3rd grade again. Where, by the way, I never got silenced or moderated.
On top of all this, an ad is covering where I'm trying to post right now, and whenever I sign in a huge banner comes up as I'm entering my password.
Think it's time to move on!

Was just going to change my password blindly so that I could no longer login. Seems like a fitting method on a forum where the glitches have taken control
Same here- I was in the near-end of Junior High, the Vietnam war was on, and I had 3 friends who were already deep into albums, whereas I was just learning off them... Grand Funk was all their favorites!
