What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Being assessed. Assigned to crew.

Lots are saying equiptment damage. In mo. Some are saying tree on wire ... It aint been storming here.

1 person here. 1 person there. 8 here. 17 there. 35 there. Etc. Its too random to be random.
when I google "power outage Illinois" I got this from the AI blurb
As of October 16, 2026, power outages across Illinois are very low overall, with only about 1,119 customers currently without electricity state-wide. However, a federal Energy Emergency Alert is actively in effect through Friday for the regional Mid-Atlantic power grid (PJM Interconnection), which includes Northern Illinois and the Chicago area. This grid emergency allows certain regional power plants to bypass standard operating limits to maintain a steady flow of electricity amidst high demands.

I really need to go through his solo stuff, I watched a tiny desk concert he did with a younger lady singer and it was really good, I also have one of his CD's I have not listened to in like 15 years but I remember liking it quite a bit, cant remember which one tho, lol. I will kick a bunch of his stuff to the top of my spotify library and see if I get around to it
His first two solo LP's with right hand man Robbie Blunt on guitar are my favorites.

No telling when its coming back. The locusts in my head are driviing me nuts. I went and found a set of earbuds. I Couldnt believe it.right where i rembered.. I didnt want to fall asleep with headphones so yay.

Phone has no audio jack.

Boo.
It was a tree.

I heard chainsaws. It was MY tree. I cant recall the last time they came thru clearing lines. Ive got 4 elms back there. Oh well.

Also I could womp on and on effusively about the new and quite gloriously simple Sony setup. Or better i'll share it. It's one of the better sounding live albums.
Now this is class D amp with all digital ins and one analog on a AD converter...done Sony style with a MOSFET output stage. Sony had an idea about switching power supplies, remember the Pulse Power Supply they started using in the late 1970's?
This is the right way to do class D.

I am a big fan of Robert Plant's solo material, too!
Robbie Blunt's guitar playing on those early records is rarely talked about. He never overplays...just seems to feed the song exactly what it needs, especially on songs like Big Log, Moonlight in Samosa, Sixes and Sevens...the more sparse arrangements.
Definitely worth digging in to @AltecDarpa !!
