What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Well, you get what you pay for... Is wireless a possibility? Or are data rates too high? Just thinking back to fixes I've had to come up with... mind you the interface of the 'puterized parking systems I was working on was RS485... perhaps a couple of tin cans and a string? :P

The objective is to transmit a 4K HDMI signal from a table port to a wall behind a 75" display.

Upper-level management uses the space frequently, and they don't want to see unnecessarily visible cables, or other parts of the "how." I tried a wireless 4K HDMI transmitter and receiver, but the solid wood conference table created too much interference, and the system often fell out of synch after power events.

The HDMI-over-Ethernet solution works beautifully, FWIW. We'll see how well it functions in the hands of end users.

No snow here, in the 60s this week then drops down 50s and below. all good here, took a tumble in a boat yesterday. not as sure footed as I once was. couple bruised ribs and ego.

I saw where as you get older your balance isn't as good, it went on to say you should spend a few minutes each day practicing standing on one foot to train your self to balance , it's pretty challenging I must say.

I stumbled a couple weeks ago going up 3 steps to the upper level of my deck and fell hard , that smarted for a half hour or so , no long term damage but I felt pretty stupid , don't think anyone saw me , I hope :)

You earned your pay today! Nice board room! Why would they not have used any conduit in the first place? Dumb... :)
