What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

Check it out bro.I got my first pension payment from Delta today.I requested Direct Deposit and i supplied them with all pertinent information.I was expecting a letter from Delta today confirming my approval for benefits along with a commencement date. What i got instead was a live check. Not only that but, they completely screwed up my withholdings.

Don't get me wrong.I'm happy we got this far but,my question as usual is why can't anybody do their job anymore?:dunno:
I could go on a rant here, but i'll just say after working as an outsider (for decades as a software consultant) with W-2 earners, well many (not all) just don't give a .... No pride, it's just a paycheck and they get paid to fix their mistakes or even better "let the consultant fix it ... that's what we pay 'em to do".

Morning y’all. Kicking off things with coffee and some Horace Silver that hasn’t been played in a while.
Then gotta get busy with some final Halloween arrangements. We have some yard decorations that have guy-wires. Kids tend to run through the yard on Halloween night and I don’t want anyone hurt, so I put 3’ wood 2x2 stakes around perimeter and string up yellow safety flagging. Adds an accident scene vibe to the yard also :rflmao:

Same here. Last year I put a counter app on my phone to count the kids. I forget the exact number but was well over 300 kids . . .
Even when I lived at home in my late teens, the number of kids had dropped off dramatically since I went out T or T-ing! I vividly recall my my Mom mentioning it every year! Maybe 20 kids for the evening! This was in a suburb of Toronto! I guess parents didn't like letting their kids out at night?

Listening to my Ampapa D1 amp and Aiyima P600 speakers, with KEF Kube subwoofer- Oh so nice!!! :)
I guess it's obvious how much I love these TPA3255 chip amps, as they have everything going for them! Awesome sound, stable with even a 2 ohm load, and gobs of power in a very small chassis! The prices keep dropping on them too! The Ampapa D1 is now $251.00 Canadian on Amazon!! A beautiful little unit, with flip plexiglass top for easy op amp changing, with a gorgeous display and remote control! One of these with a decent set of speakers makes for a killer, unobtrusive system, with truly hi end sound! I have quite the collection now, and I'm slightly obsessed with them... :)
