What are you Listening To Right Now? - and more

This NRPS was a mold monkey. IIRC the paper sleeve was dissolved into the grooves. After some hand scrubbing with a microfiber cloth and water/isopropyl and a dip in my cheap vevor ultrasonic cleaner, it sounds pretty damned good.

This is one I might not have ever cleaned by hand. It would have been a big job and I wouldn’t have expected the great result I got with my current process. I’m glad I got it cleaned and into playable condition. Great music!

The Freak Brothers like picture with the track list at the top is card stock. It was inside the jacket.

Edit: not card stock and I just discovered the other side, adding photos now.

I agree... it is inconceivable that we are the sole inhabitants of a virtually infinite universe... absolutely impossible... I also believe there is a whole branch of physics waiting to be discovered that would seem like magic to us now... :)
Some cosmic things are hard to wrap one’s head around. Like the universe is expanding faster. Exactly where does that energy come from? What is the origin of Dark Energy and Dark Matter?

Things for university supercomputers to chew on.

I love pondering about stuff like that- do I understand the physics behind it? Not a snowball's chance in hell, but I can conceive of these wonders... :)

I hope your copy was a little easier to clean than mine :smoke: Do you have the card stock insert with the comic image of the group and the track list? My wild guess is there was only one pressing and it included the insert.

Edit: I just realized the insert is paper with the top folded over, so it felt like card stock. And it has more information on the other side.
