On a personal note: I don’t listen to most country, but I’ve listened to Lyle since his debut. Loved the TV show too. I identify with him strongly. I think it’s because of the hair. I too had “Is that a wedge of pie on your head?” hair at one time. Went Afro the summer before HS in ‘71. Met my wife that year in 10th grade English 52 years ago. Dude, life’s too short for bad hair.
