Well, since this thread is about looks, and not sound, I'll nominate a pair of Bose 901 Continentals on chrome plated Saarinen-style tulip stands:

Clean, classic elegant lines with walnut veneer.

I'm biased (but isn't that the point of this thread?), but I'm pleased with the way my restored JBL 4301B Control Monitors turned out:

I also love the look of the East Indian Rosewood veneer on my JVC Zero 9 speakers:

Hard to capture in a photo, but the grain is beautiful in color and has a depth to it that just seems to glow.

Vienna Acoustic Bachs in palisander rosewood also aren't too hard on the eyes:

I guess younger folks have never been exposed to great speakers from the past. Here are two examples. JBLs' famous Paragon and the mighty corner speaker the Hartsfield. Today there's the DD6700 and Tannoy's Westminster. . The above speakers could be powered with a few watts and make us happy. Another mighty speaker pair that has just been recently introduced for a Mere $750.000.00 is the Magico M9. Requires multiple amps using two electronic crossover and a with 94 db sensitivity 200 watts total should be adequate even though the speakers is rated for 2000 total.

I saw them at an exhibition in Paris called cabinet des curisoties around 10 years ago,they had tad drivers and sounded great after free champagne,I remember the artist mentioned he wanted to create a Japanese anime girl with big eyes.
But these are the speakers I dream about.
