What could I do with these woofs??? (pix)

Hi All, Annie and I went to friends for dinner last night and Joe was showing me all the stuff he is selling in prep for a move to a new house. He asked me if I wanted these woofers and I said "sure". Now, what the heck do I do with them. I don't know much about the Ohm speakers. The sticker on the back of the woofs say model number C2. They are in great shape. Sold surrounds and no VC rubbing.

so thats what they look like. i have 2 pair in the garage missing every spec of foam. those are not cheap speaks in any case

If so, make up some 1 to 1.5 cubic foot cabinets, vented (probably tuned to around 32 Hz or so), and do an E-wave with them... the smaller horn flare (6x6") should work great.

Hey Gordon, they are 10" drivers. I don't know how Ohms sound so don't know it they are worth the effort.
 
Ohm 10" woofer would probably be better in a 3-way design. Conventional wisdom dictates that with that cone design, it's probably better not to try to push it above 1KHz. Probably happier running 800Hz and down.

Though, IIRC, Ohm ran these as a 2 way, with a CTS-style "phenolic ring" tweeter in one model... so, it would have to go up to 2KHz, to do that. Don't know how well, but it would have to at least do it...

My Ohm L puts out mucho bass for the size of the cab. Those ohm woofers are pretty hefty, at least mine is! I think they are definitely worth a new project.
