What counterweight would work with a Kenwood KD 750?

KD may be a different arm from the KP models I've seen.

The 770 has a very different tonearm . I strongly doubt that the counterweight from the 770 will fit the tonearm of the 750 ....

Measure the stub diameter with a caliper. Several companies on fleabay sell counterweights with the diameter of the hole in the weight listed. I hope this helps, I know there are other issues like the weight etc.

The 650 arm isn't the same either. I'm happy to weigh or measure mine but I can't be sure it will be close enough.

To such turntables as these Kenwood - many original accessories are very rare ( and sometimes expensive ) . I always strongly warn my friends against buying such incomplete turntables .

KD750 counterweight stub diameter, 13.7mm
KD650 .... 13.5mm, yup, it will not quite fit on.
Jelco ... 12mm

If you manage to get a whole KD650 arm, you can drop the whole thing in, keeping the height adjustment from the KD750. The arm from the 650 is a slightly better arm (better wiring mainly), but there isn't much in it. Alternatively, you could transplant the counterweight stub + counterweight from the 650 arm to the 750. I have a jelco sub and counterweight on the 750 arm bearing. It fits in just fine.
