What DB is everyone listening to their music?

Well, it is a very cheap BAFX 3370 meter. I'm not quite sure how to check its accuracy, but I did see a YouTube video where they measured the decibel level of two vacuums, one being an Oreck similar to one I own. On the YouTube clip, they measured about 85 dB, but it was hard to tell exactly where the meter was in relation to the vacuum. My meter registered about 83.5 dB for my Oreck, but moving the meter a fairly small amount can change that reading up or down several dB. In any event, based on this, I'm guessing my meter is working reasonably well.
 
I've been fooling around with the DB meter on my Iphone, I hit 104 with my Kappa 8's and I found it completely unpleasant. The low 70's is where, or is my sweet spot.
