I hear fisher tube amps can be desirable.


Someone caught this before I did, too bad as I would have really liked it.

Nope, that appears to be a '63 or '64 Fisher Futura.

Didn't miss out on too much, it has the hybrid amp in it and weighs a ton. But the knobs power switch work well on a 800C and there are a handful of fisher 12AX7's in it.

You didn't miss out on anything.

I passed up a very similar system this past weekend at the Re-Store. They wanted $50 for a Stromberg Carlson mono system very similar.

It was in nice condition, and even if it would have been free I still would have walked past it. The amp and tuner are one piece. Granted, it may have had a tube or two in it I may have been able to use, but it wasn't worth the effort...


I guess to each their own though...
