what do you drink when listening to music?

On weekends, Whiskey Sour, Patrone, Rolling Rock. Weekdays, Coke, Coffee, Ginger Ale. No booze from Sundays at 5pm, Till Fridays 3pm. I know it's nuts, But a wife promise is a promise. :tears:

do i even have to ask why you had to make that promise with your wife?:scratch2:
or is that digging up your painful past?

Scotch on the rocks or some California red wine.

I love fine ports but two give me a hangover...

Martinis need a professional's touch.....

Is this thread limited to drinking? I prefer:smoke:. Nah, really it's a tall Beam&7 with lots of ice. If I like what I'm hearing that turns into a couple of shot's with a 7UP chaser...............R1

damn!
i'm definately having a few after i get off work.
i thought watching the food-channel was bad since it made me hungry whenever i did.....

Lots of cold anhauser busch products fresh from the nearby kegerator. This weekend there were also a few quarts of homemade tomato wine to keep the fires burning. Always keep some sort of ingestible kerosene available just in case draft beer doesn't do the trick or company prefers something other than beer.

Typical Programme:
Early evening: Ben Harper and a sip of refreshing Coopers Pale Ale to compliment dinner/appreciative listening.
Mid evening: Beatles background to harmonise with a tag-team of Coopers Stout and Bass Pale Ale
Late evening: Led Zeppelin grooves to a steady diet of Coopers Stout (or Grand Ridge Hat Lifter Stout if just returned from Australia). 3 - 5 litres usually joins the beer-spill mosaic on the carpet while jumping about at this stage...
Early morning: Unreasonable volume Deep Purple while imbing whatever psychotropic and/or alcoholic substances I can still see and don't require fine motor skills to consume. Just gets nasty after that usually finishing with a fit of cussing and swilling while reminiscing about past loves motivated by Jeff Buckley's 'Grace'.

Many years ago, I was honestly asked in an interview that was going south quickly "Do you drink?"

I was stone cold sober, but had enough wits to answer:

"It's a little early for me, but what the hell - what've you got?"

Tonight it's red wine...

Other times it's:
Martini's (all flavors)
Mud Slides
Beer
Shots of Whisky
Shots of Burbon
Rum and Coke
Hemlocks
Purple Hooters
Margaritas (all flavors)
Tequila Sunrises
Slow Southern Screws
Legal Shine
Long Island T's

hhhmmm Maybe it was easier to say what we don't drink, because this is just a partial list..

Yes, my liquor cab has everything in there to make all the above, and more.. :scratch2: :tresbon:

ROTF!!!! If that didn't get you the job, nothing would have..

Its my Friday and when I get off at eleven pm it is a six pack of tall Bud Light and tonight a Marantz 1550 and Imperial 7's.The kids will be asleep and I will be in heaven.Until I have to get up tomorrow and do the halloween gig at the school

Whatever I can conjur up. If I have beer, then it's beer. If I have bourbon, then it's bourbon and coke. I'm pretty flexible.

Had a few issues when we were dating, Nothing criminal or anything. I made a promise to cut back thats all, And laying off on weekdays was a simple way to cut back. It makes her happy. I was hit'n it pretty hard for awhile.
