What gauge wire?

My set up is a 4.1 system.

Front speakers are dynamic audio 1901 speaker and use about 3 feet cable each.

Surrounds are Yamaha cube speakers and use about 30 feet cable each.

Nothing fancy here.

I currently have a 18 gauge wire and surrounds sounds is too low. I have troubleshooted and a smaller wire makes them loud enough.

Do you think a 14 gauge would help? Also, can I buy this cheap wire?

30 feet is a pretty long run, but I don't think that the 18 gauge wire is the reason the sound is low. Can you not adjust the volume of them?

I'd say 14 gauge would be plenty for that. Just be careful on some cheap wire, as it uses thick insulation to give the impression that it's larger. If it is in fact 14 gauge, then I see no problem with it.
