What Is Best Speaker Wire for Vintage Speakers

I use belden 14awg in twisted pair

I have compared this with my reference pure silver wire and it is 85% of the sonic quality vs the reference in my primary setup but much closer on vintage speakers

Wow. 85%, huh? I would have thought closer to 86%.

i run across lots of used stranded copper lamp cord wire that the copper is corroded black all thru the run...always seems to be the newer (modern) wire of today though..i've cut into some really old wire thats 40+ years old and its beautiful bright shiny copper inside..i was going to say buy new wire but... if its not corroded and the insulation is still good use it!

Hello Everyone, Would like/appreciate your input on, "What is the best speaker wire to use with Vintage/Early 1970's Audio Equip./Speaker set up?" What's best wire gauge, wire material, with your recommendations for wire plug connectors-yes/no. Just trying to learn how I can get the Best/Most out of my equipment.
