What is it about Klipsch....

I have a set of KG 2w's that scald my ears with their shrillness. I would almost give them away just to make space. I also have a set of KG 4.5's that I just wish I had a bigger room to use in. They do sound nice at low levels though and really do well with the local jazz channel.

And the further you go up the line the better it gets. More of everything.

A pair of K-horns will really drive home the idea that it's really the first watt that counts the most. And as I continue to simplify the pieces in front of the speakers, less gets between me and the music....:thmbsp:

I really would like to hear Belles, and of course the Jubilee's some day.

And Coyote, you have shown admirable restraint lately. I think I've seen 4 or 5 straight posts form you that haven't had the "J" word contained within.....

Efficiency, dynamics, realism, upgradeability.

With Klipsch horn-loaded speakers, I can use the tiny tube amps my ears prefer, I can upgrade them at will thanks to a very active aftermarket and some great engineering (Klipsch tweeters and their easily replaceable domes are a work of art).

And most importantly, when properly setup, Klipsch speakers can make a performance come to life in your listening room in a way that few speakers I've heard can. They simply make the music sound right and real.
