What is my Howlin Wolf record worth?

I realize it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay and I paid 75. I can't find any info on it. I think it's from 1963 which would be a repress and it's in such good shape. I just got it yesterday and am really excited about it. What is a realistic value?

That's a great record! As you mention, yours is not the original Chess pressing which would bring the most $$, but a VG++ 2nd pressing in true mono (not fake stereo) as I think yours is, has "got" to be worth at least double what you paid. In all my years of crate digging, I have never come across this album in any condition.

Vinyl Beat puts that label as a 1963 issue. I've never come across that label on any record, I had to look it up. I'm pretty sure you scored.

Effingham huh? I got relatives there, as well as Altamont, and St. Elmo. Dad was from St. Elmo, spent a lot of time there when I was little. Have not been down there in a few years. We usually eat at Niemergs.
