What is this spk logo?

Does anyone know what brand of speaker this is? Looks like an 8" 2-way, but the logo brand eludes me?

For some reason I can't add a pic from this computer, but the logo looks like an L with two numeral 1s, all have a small flare going to the left?? Creative, but means nothing to me? One of the 1s is the same size as the letter?, and one is like half-size?

Reminds me of an AR 4x but somewhat wider, and the wood case has a black line around the case about an inch back from the face edge?

I'll try to loop a pic thru another source.

I'm sorry I posted this without a pic. The municipal computer I was on would not allow any pic or attachment. But, I am not familiar with this logo, so if anyone recognizes it, it would sure help.

The speakers are not in bad shape, the woofers actually look fine, I just don't know what they are???

Is it a black line or a small groove cut into the wood? And does it extend all around the cabinet?

I have seen "BH" before.

When I was very, very young, my grandmother had a small pair of bookshelf speakers in her living room hooked up to a GE Porta-Fi system in another room. The logo was simply an aluminum badge with the letters "BH" in bold, black block letters. Remove the grilles, and you find an 8" full range driver with a whizzer cone. The cone was green paper with a paper tar ripple surround. I don't know what happened to them and I've never seen any since.

Another reason why this site is priceless. Try them; http://www.bhspeakers.com/about.asp

Somehow I don't think those are the same BH either the OP or myself were referring to. Chinese made or not, those are far higher quality than the cheap junk from the early 70's that I'm talking about...

After further review I think you're correct Tubeage, my bad.

These speakers remind me of AR4Xs although wider stance, same type of fabric grills and khaki coloring. These are 2 way speaks, not full-range single units. They have both screw terminals an the rca plug on the back for speaker hookup, but no other info anywhere on the cabinets.

Another set I don't need at GW, but the compulsion.....is sooooo strong!!!
