What is wrong with my system?

This should be checked before anything else...

Always have to be sure it's hooked up properly, first and foremost.
There was a memorable thread from some years back where a member had problem somewhat similar report. One of the first things suggested was to check the speaker/amp connections to be sure the polarity is the same both sides.
Of course we were assured that had been checked and double-checked, and was all good. A week or two, maybe it was even more, with suggestions coming in from every angle...cables, speakers, synergy, room treatments, subwoofer, EQ, etc., etc.
What was it in the end? Yeah, you probably guessed it; one of the speakers was connected in opposite polarity, despite assurances otherwise.
That may not be the case here, or maybe it is just that simple. Point being, the basics must be correct first and foremost.
