What is your experiences with your Rega RB-250 Rewire, please?

Did your Cardas tonearm rewiring work for you OR NOT? I fine many comments of the wiring being too thick & causing the tonearm to drag in the horizontal direction....

We seem to have two camps: one says the rewire is bliss and the other who describes the problems as a result. Left Hand meed Right Hand. I've stalled on a decision to send my arm to BritAudio for a rewire or just buy a new TT

thanks in advance - please..

and there we are...crickets as usual. There are folks who cite their pending upgrade, and those who infer it caused problems afterwards but none who will correlate the two.

Expectations management...

It shouldn't cause a problems if the re-wirer knows what they are doing. If you were doing it for sound quality reasons, I'd have said not to bother, but if you have a physical issue with the wiring, then I would have thought it can only help if done properly.

I know the guy (Michael Wharton) at Britaudio, actually been to his house. He will not do you wrong on a rewire or do anything that lessens the performance of the arm. He will also stand behind his work. I believe he is a member here (@britaudio), so you could PM him to ask any questions if on the fence.
