What Is Your JBL L1XX Standing On?

I am waiting for a pair of L-110s that I just aquired to be re-coned. I haven't sat down with them for any sort of extended listening session yet, but I'm anxious to get them back and hook them up!

Meanwhile, I'm looking for a stand that suits them (and is not the classic L100 stand). The problem is that although there aren't really any visible parts on the L110s that are wildly outdated, it's definatly a vintage looking speaker; so I don't think a modern shiny chrome or super glossy speaker stand would really work.

I may be wrong tho. So let me know what kind of stands you guys have for your L1XX.

My JBL L-100's sit on a pair of original X-shaped AR walnut stands. They raise the speakers about a foot off the floor.
