WHAT KIND OF CARTRIDGE IS THIS?

[BSR OWNER]

Can somebody...PLEASE...tell me what kind of cartridge this is? It looks like an original cartridge sold in Dual 1019 Turntables. Is it a MM or MC or just ceramic? I don't know. I would appreciate any input on this vintage cartridge.

Maybe an Empire? If so either MM or MI

It's an old (1962-1965) Empire 880, probably an 880P. Magnetic cartridge, high output, moving-magnet design. Tracks at 2 grams with the original conical stylus.

Nice vintage cartridge. I listen to mine quite a bit on a 1009.
