what kind of speakers are these

I saw these speakers today at the local goodwill . They are a 2 way, with cast aluminum drivers. All it says on the back is kb-14 8 ohms and 20 watts.
the woofer has 'made in hungary'..vttv ha-20/12k...also they were made in 1980.

I found a name of a Hungarian speaker co, from way back called Videoton.

Hi, what you have there are Videoton speakers, the company based in Hungary used to make a pair called Videoton Minimax which sold well and got good reviews during the 70's and early 80's as budget speakers with a clean, transparent sound.

Hmmm. Did Videoton have anything to do with SAAT, who also made (or at least sold as a brand name) "book speakers"?

Videoton also made a (sort of) Bose 901 clone with all the drivers facing frontwards.
