What model are these AAL speakers??

There is a pair of interesting looking AAL speakers for sale on my local Craigslist. Can anyone identify what model these might be?



Also, any idea what a fair price on these would be assuming they function properly?

They are likely piezoelectric, and tend to be a little shrill once driven hard. Using multiple tweeters is an old trick too for using tweeters with low power handling, it cuts down the effort by spreading the load across multiple drivers.

The KSN1038 piezo used in these speakers is (IME&O) one of the better sounding piezo models and sounds pretty good.

Were I a parting kind of guy I might value the speakers just for the 8 original Motorola piezos.

I think those are the exact speakers I owned when I lived in a frat house, before I "upgraded" to CV's for cranking. If you throw a keg party out by the fire, crank the hell out of them and then throw them on the fire at the end of the night.
