What model of Luxman Integrated amp would you recommend?

Anyone have a 100 volt luxman unit in the us? If so what step down transformer do y’all use
Good question to post all on its own in a separate thread.

Find out how many watts the amp consumes and get a transformer that is double that and you should be fine. Seems folks go to amazon for that.

I use a torroidal isolated (rather than an autotransformer) for my Japanese purchases, in AU, 1KVA is plenty.
The isolateds are more expensive but provide additional safety to your amp in the rare case of a secondary winding fault/open

As a few others have also suggested, save your money and buy any one of the new generation 5XX models. I stretched for the entry 505UX MKII and am extremely happy. About to pull the trigger on a pair of Fyne Audio F502SPs to mate with her.

I went on the buying spree and purchased a few amps, a Creek 4040, NAD 3020B and a
old BIC/Lux amp out of all of them the Luxman sounded the most tube like the highs were
full not thin. I just think with all the tubes amps they made it kinda when into there solid state
as well. I think the L-30 is a great amp but the prices yeks, Here a picture of my Lux.
