What online retailer(s) do you buy NEW vinyl from?

I have lots of great record store here but when I buy online I go to Acoustic Sounds. As far as those records you just bought they where pressed at Quality Record Pressing witch is owned by Acoustic Sounds and are all located in the same city. They produce some of the best records today and do every aspect in the record industry. Sales new and used, recording, mastering, plating, pressing, issuing of new artist, Audiophile reissues, you name it and they have it all under one roof. They take pride in there work form start to finish and finish means getting it to you, their packing and shipping is second to none.

Take a look at this thread...

Ditto Acoustic Sound - first class in everything from the best pressings to best packaging - you know I could go real broke real fast ordering the Quality Pressings - they are just incredible and very much keepers !

I have always used Amazon. I have purchased @ 15 records using Amazon and have yet seen a bad packaging job. I hope the luck will continue..........

Will never spend another nickel at best buy, bent corners, shrink wrapped too tight , warped record. No bueno.

Sick and tired of amazon, decided to check out some of the retailers mentioned here. My browser (Chrome, on a good Win10 machine) just spent 15 mins trying to log on to the Acoustic Sounds website. Still will not do it. That's what's frustrating. Amazon has the tech down, never any issues, one of the best designed websites out there. Even when we want to spend money elsewhere, it tends to take a lot more effort. (sigh)

SoundStageDirect when I do buy online. but I usually stick with my local indie record store.

Sadly, no local record stores in my area, so online it is. Mixed results with Amazon, mostly good, one not so much. Also mixed results with Barnes & Noble. Soundstage Direct rocks. Great customer service.

I avoid Amazon. I don't care how easy it is to use (and it is very easy) packing of LPS is ALWAYS different from order to order, and not confidence inspiring. Same for Ebay. Some people do a pretty good job, but most times I shake my head when I get the package in the mail. Not worth the headache.

I buy mostly audiophile releases which are hard to come by in the brick and mortar stores, even in Austin. When I do buy mass release commercial stuff online it's usually mixed with the higher end stuff.

Best packaging:
1. Soundstage Direct
2/3 (tie) Acoustic Sounds and Music Direct

Best selection:
They all have a good selection. Music Direct has a close relationship to MoFi so they usually have a better selection and availability. Acoustic Sounds has the same with Analogue Productions. When I buy, I usually place LPs and/or SACDs in my cart on all three sites. Sometimes a discount shows up on one site which makes the order cheaper, or possibly one item isn't available at one site but is at another.

Soundstage Direct does have great packaging--the records are protected on all sides, unlike in a typical LP mailer. Amazon has gotten way better--as mentioned above, often the individual titles are already in cardboard mailers, and if you order two or more, they combine those into another box. Having ordered a few from Amazon in the EU, however, you're sometimes subject to DHL, who is very slow to ship, and the packaging is often quite beaten up. Which is kind of strange, since I used to get a few LPs from Amazon UK that would show up via Royal Mail within a week.

I've gotten high-res downloads from Acoustic Sounds--they arrived undamaged. :D And at least they can't press high-res files off-center like about a third of the QRP-pressed records I've purchased...
