Sorry, no photo...
I picked up a copy of Sade - Diamond Life (1985, Portrait) at Goodwill tonight. This one has been on my radar for a while, but I haven't been able to find a copy at any of the local used record stores. I was surprised to find it at this particular Goodwill. They don't have many albums, and want they have are usually pretty uninspiring. This is the first album I have purchased at this Goodwill.
The cover shows moderate wear and the album was a little dirty, but surprisingly scratch free. It cleaned up well and sounds absolutely great.
This is one of those albums that is often recommended for sound quality, and I have to say, I agree. This is actually the first time I have heard it on vinyl. I rank it right up there with Tea for the Tillerman and Dreamboat Annie as my best sounding finds of 2017 (so far...).
I'm spinning it on my Lab 440 table with a Signet TK10ML cartridge driving my restored JBL L36 Decades with a Sherwood S-7100A. Everything in the chain came from Goodwill.
