A secret to a good retirement is enjoying hobbies. Music and the vintage kit to play it on is obviously a favourite but another that brings great joy and satisfaction is watch collecting. I own approximately 50 watches collected since I was 6 ranging from very inexpensive resin case digitals to Swiss automatics to vintage '50s-'70s classic design. 20260806_212447.jpg

The last three watches to the right represent three generations of my family. My grandfather, father, and me. All are Swiss automatics in perfect working condition. Oh, I have three pocket watches that belonged to each of us as well.

Anyway, back to the music.

Another satisfying hobby is the collecting and enjoyment of fine spirits. Here is a measure of Windward Canadian Whiskey with a 1/2 teaspoon of spring water and 6 frozen whisky stones (Chillin' Rock) in a crystal Glencairn Canadian whisky glass. Sublime when enjoyed in moderation.
