What song reminds you of a particular movie?

[Stillhouse]

[spicer]

Thunder Road always reminds me of the movie Thunder Road. Sorry, couldn't help it. Robert Mitchum wrote and sang the song of his very popular movie.

[Mystic]

[painttoad]

surrender(cheap trick) - over the edge

fox on the run(sweet)- dazed and confused

[ernieb1536]

"She`s Got To Be Somebody`s Baby" by Jackson Brown always makes me flash back to "Fast Times At Ridgemont High".

Against all odds , phill Collins ! And who could forget the bueatiful Rachel Ward from the movie !

[Bill Ashton]

I think the name of the tune is "Green Leaves Of Summer," and it always brings up The Alamo in my mind. What it the theme?

Agree with Windmills Of Your Mind...Faye Dunaway and Steve McQueen!

[DeadRock]

Tubular Bells (Main Theme Part 1) The Exorcist

[Hyperion]

What it the theme?

Not quite sure what you are asking...'The Green Leaves Of Summer' is the Alamo Theme.

I like this one too!

[GordonW]

I can't hear this song, without thinking of Max from the movie "Jackie Brown":

Regards,
Gordon.

[GordonW]

It's not a movie- but I can't hear Paul Mauriat's song "Love Is Blue" without thinking of the TV series "Millennium" episode "A Room with no View"...

That was one of the most compelling TV show episodes I can recall, ever,.

Regards,
Gordon.

[Route 66]

Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings from Platoon.

[BillyTheKid]

Mrs. Kid is always touched by Kate Bush's 'This Womans Work" because of the Kevin Bacon film "She's having a baby"

THAT does not sound like The Brothers Four, LOL But same song they say they supplied for the movie (after some research).

I was 8 years old when I saw bits of the movie, so attaching the tune to the movie makes sense.

[lini]

"The Look of Love" -> Casino Royale

"This is not America" -> The Falcon and the Snowman

"Partyman" -> Batman

Greetings from Munich!

P.S.: Oh, and almost forgot "Bohemian Rhapsody" -> Wayne's World

[bluesky]

" I've been to the DANGER ZONE. " (Kenny Loggins)

I worked there for 3+ decades. I like the song! One of my favorites.

Yep.

[DeadRock]

I can't hear Steely Dan's Dirty Work now, without thinking of American Hustle...and that is not a bad thing...
