What speakers to 120$

I have technics sl-d202 turntable and amplituner dual cr1750 and Im looking for speakers to play in a 16m2 room with highest possible sound quality for this price. Im mostly looking at used ones because they often offer better quality to price ratio. I’ll add that I live in Poland so if there are any polish people let me know if you know some good speakers.

A co-worker of mine bought these new at Opus One in Pittsburgh, probably in the late 1970s. She brought them to me to take a look at the other day. The look pretty well made with solid cabinets, probably in the 30 lb. each range.

The woofers have pleated cloth surrounds, so no refoaming needed. Hooked them up and immediately noticed neither tweeter is playing. By the rear speaker terminals there appears to be a fuse holder. I've had no success getting it open so far, the plastic is brittle. Will pull a tweeter and see if it has continuity next...

To the OP, check the electronics listings on whatever selling platforms are popular in your area. We have no way of knowing what people will be selling, and most of us probably don't know what sort of equipment would have been sold in Poland when it was new. When you find something that looks interesting, do a web search to find out what other people think about it; there's a good chance that some searches will point to older threads here at AK. If you can't find any info, feel free to open a new thread here, but post as much info as you can get: Manufacturer, model number, seller's description and any pictures you can get.
