What the hell is going on? Help!

I went to my "Bookmarks" on my Firefox browser and clicked on the "Audiokarma" link and some other damn website pops up instead of this site!!?? Do I have a virus or trojan that has hijacked my computer. The only reason I am able to post this right now is because I googled "Audiokarma" and was able to come in through the Sansui forum. What the hell happened? Please help and while I wait for some responses I am going to do a complete virus check. My bookmark to this website has never failed me until now. Something is wrong. :tears: :tears:

Problem:

According to whois.com The domain name lease has expired.

This is odd. I was able to get to the site using some tools on my firewall and pull the good IP
 
Running AVG now but nothing so far but something is definitely wrong. Even from our website when I click on "AudioKarma.org Discussion Forums" I get this instead!!

My explorer browser also took me to another site when I used favorites. When I googled it I got a cached version. Says the domain name is expired but I just retried and got in fine?????
 
Thanks. It was working well for some time until this morning. Guess for some the domain name was getting pointed to somewhere else. I'm just using the new Ip for now.
 
The domain had expired for about 20 minutes before we caught it and had it corrected.
 
Complete virus check came up with nothing. I deleted my old bookmark and made a new bookmark and the same thing happened again. Deleted it again and redid the bookmark. Right it seems to be working. Just what the hell happened anyway? Any ideas? Did the recent server upgrades have anything to do with this? I wouldn't think so I had no problems yesterday. Very strange.:scratch2:

Thanks Wardsweb. I was running scared. Thought my computer was infected or something. Please, don't let that happen again. Sheesh!!!!:dammit: :D
 
Well, guys as a newbie, just getting started, this really sucks. Whatever is going on hasn't stopped for me yet. I've run a virus scan and a tracking cookie and advertising cookie were deleted. Closed my browser and logged in again. Got to this discussion and then when I try to go anywhere else, wham same thing happens. Also 75% of the time it seems I'm already logged in when I do get to the home page,even when the browser has been closed.

I was worried that perhaps it expired and some neer-do-well snagged it was was holding it for ransom.....

Interesting. Register.com was always very good at auto-renewing. (Most Registrars are. It's getting them to _stop_ auto-renewing that can be harder. hehe)

Had your credit card expired or changed?
