What the... help! (EMI content)

Hey all:

I've had a pair of EMI 319 speakers sitting in my garage for a few years, waiting for me to do something with them. Today I finally decided to get off my butt and give them a recap and see if I could clean up the cabinets (which are in great shape, just in need of a light sanding and a little polyurethane).

When I opened up the backs of the speakers, in the first one I saw just what I expected: an oval EMI driver. the SECOND one, however, contained a surprise: a Jensen 5 Alnico woofer, a tweeter with no name I could see, and about a 2" port. (see photos below)

My first thought was, "somebody's Frankenspeaker"; the strange thing, though, is the work on the speaker with the Jensen woofer is very well done; that is, the baffle was clearly made for that configuration, the port was well-finished, and it has the same crossover as the other one.

What the heck have I got here? Did EMI ever release a 319 with a Jensen woofer? Is this a really old, well-executed modification? What should I do with these mismatched beauties?

While I'm at it, does anybody know the cap values for this speaker? I was too lazy (and kind of put off) to go to the trouble of removing the caps from the inductors (or whatever those things are wrapped around the caps)

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated...
