What the ###!!!???

Hi Guys, I have a choice of either a Empire Op2 cartridge and stylus a EEI 300H cartridge with stylus a Fidelity Research FR-1Mk3F cartridge with a broken stylus or a Ortofon M15 Super which one should I go for with my Technics SL1400 with a Sansui AU 101 amp ? Thanks. Groovetube.

Believe it or not, I'm going for the EEI. Some call it a Townshend, some call it an Elite, some call it an EEI. What it is underneath is a clone of my Excel ES-70S, which is a helluva little cartridge. If you know where to get styli for it (the UK, usually), you can get anything from the basic conical stylus the 300H came with all the way to a very nice little Shibata. A real sleeper, at least to us USians. Should match your Technics arm just fine.
