I have a woofer from a Dynaco A25 that has a voice coil problem along with a tweeter form the A25, plus two fried egg tweeters from Advents. All three tweeters read open but the woofer does have a very slight output at 6.4Ω but sounds tinny. I believe the voice coil may be warped as I can hear it rub on the magnet assembly when I move it in and out.
I think the woofer may be salvageable but the tweeters may be toast.
Was wondering if I should just toss them or list them to see if anyone would want to attempt to bring them back from the dead. Thinking about listing them on Barter Town at just what it would cost to ship. If people don't mess with bad drivers I'll just throw them away.
