What tuner?

Just purchased a Pioneer SA-9500 that was recapped
and sounds great and am using a Kenwwod 2070 table
with Grado Gold 1 cartridge with great results.

I am now looking for a vintage tuner with good sound quality
to match the 9500 any suggestions.

I am really enjoying the old school sound.

Thanks Greg

Sony ST-5000. Sounds accurate like a CD on right station. Lower dollars? Scott LT-112B. Accurate sound like the Sony. Kenwood KT-990D- like above with a little softer sound, but accurate & more money than the Scott. I owned about 30 tuners, these are top picks.

Thanks for the great input. I am after quality for the buck and will look
for one of these tuners.

Thanks Greg

I have another suggestion. How about a Pioneer TX-9100? The wood adds a touch of class and they're easy to service.

Thanks for all the replies you guy's have corrupted me just bought a AU-9900
Sansui so out with the Pioneer SA-9500. Tried finding the Sony will need to keep it on
the radar. Most likely will go for the Sansui TU-9900 and call it a day. Can't believe
how much fun listening to good audio is.
