What type is B&O MMC? MM? MC? Neither?

I need a phono pre-amp for my B&O TX2, but I don't know what type of cart the MMC is. Is it even either one of these, or it's own monster?

What kind of pre amp do I need?

Moving magnetic cross- similar to moving magnetic iron, which is close to sound like moving magnet, with just a tad bit extra midbass bloom- making it what many folk describe as a "musical" cart.

Any phono pre with a MM capability is fine.

Had an MMC 20 EN- what a fantastic sounding cart that was!

The B&O carts may be just a tad lower output than other MM carts, but a conventional MM preamp is what you need.
