What unfinished project(s) eat at you?

Unfinished? A Hickok 800K that keeps getting bumped off the bench and schedule by other projects.

Projects are only unfinished until they're finished. No worries! Everything happens given time.

What unfinished projects eat you?

All 67 of them. Made a list yesterday. Rewrote the list today in 'order to fix'. :dunno:

I think I'll just have a beer.

Did just restore double front doors. 3-day job. Went well considering. Door seals was the BIG issue - believe it or not. I had to fabricate them.

Most of the people I work with. Given some time, guaranteed they will break something and pretend it didn't happen.

I used to tell my guys: "If you break ANYTHING - tell me immediately and we will just fix it and make the problem 'go away'. If you don't tell me, I'll find out about it anyway 'real fast' anywat and then you'll have a real problem." Problem solved.

I am a nut job so when I pick up a project I am 100% obsessed with finishing it in a single sitting. Having to order and wait for parts to arrive is torturous.
it takes longer waiting for parts than the work. i now always order more parts than i need for ajob, i hate waiting.

I’ve a pair of Altec Flamenco that I restored. The cabinets are ready for veneer never done this. Putting it off

'73 TR-6 I started years ago and a long list of vintage audio stuff. Although I think my troubleshooting skills got better with age, I cant say the same thing about my eyes and hearing! (at least the highs so I bump up treble quite often on everything) I restored a 500c fisher quite a while ago and a couple small marantz units. the whole process went really well and pretty quick. I was real steady with a soldering Iron back then! Still at it just slow and a bit reluctant to tackle bigger stuff like G-9000 because it still works good with minor issues and repair.

I have a pair of working Nad 2700 THX amps that should be serviced and recapped, however I don’t use them much so they will have to wait until funds become available for the rebuild.

A Sansui 400 I cant get MPX sorted in,,, Scott 348 needs a couple transistors,,,
Allen T50 one output transistor,,,
Guess I should have dabbled in SS stuff !!!

My most frustrating unfinished project is a Phase Linear Model 400 Series Two., sitting waiting for the White Oak Audio treatment. As I'm old, and doing chemo now, that crap just zaps the energy from you. I guess I'll just sell this project.
