What was that Masked Console in D.C.

I meant pulling out the stylus' (needles) and reversing them. They pull straight out. Push down in the red knob and then turn 90*. The needles will be situated left and right. Pull them straight out from the holders and put the left one in the right holder and the right needle in the left holder. Now the needles will be correct for the red knob. DAMN! I was typing while Gadget was.

For Pictures. Either add them by clicking on "go advanced" which will open the advanced uploading section. look for handling attachments. open that and click browse for each picture you want to load from your computer. then click upload and when it shows your pictures named just below the boxes close that box. Pictures will show up as thumbnails. Then right click on a thumbnail name, click copy shortcut, and copy it to the message box. put the
tags before and after the shortcut or it won't show the pic in full. Clear as mud??

larry, I meant to say profile picture...I have to learn to be more precise....I think that I got the idea with changing needle position.....thanks
 
hey...got the needles in correctly and everything works great....another major step forward for the advancement of mankind.

Profile Pic is basically the same. Go into profile, and it will let you load a pic from your computer.

hey...just realized after changing the needle position and cranking up the R3.......LPs original produced mono (not many) sound so much better than stereo LPs...the stereo LPs sound muddy...I assume because of the dual tracking.
 
It's due to the way that mono and stereo cartridges vibrate. You can play MONO lp's on a stereo cart, but not the other way around. The way the mono cart vibrates the needle, it will actually carve out the groove, and you;ll have a good skeet pigeon.

Mine and Fran's are both Model 100-28's with an overarm and a sizing arm. Your's is more like a Garrard knife slicer drop.

Victor, I'm glad you decided to follow my suggestion. As you can tell, you're in pretty good company here with a surprisingly good representation of early 50s Coronet owners. I don't think there are very many other Internet sites that offer this sort of brain trust - with the possible exception of ARF (Antique Radio Forums) but their focus is pre-WWII radios.

I suppose the Fisher Console Owner's Roster is now way overdue for an update.

Check out Joel27's Custom Sixty on the Roster link above. While his Sixty's components are jaw-droppingly impressive, your cabinet definitely has the edge. It is just stunning. I will be very interested to see what Frannie's Georgian looks like once it is cleaned up, though. Then there's Wrigley's Black Lacquer Allegro - that one's pretty slick, too.

I hope to join the Fisher Highboy club one of these days - not a lot of company over here in the Philharmonic club.
