What was the the last audio-related item you purchased?

Grabbed this for 9 bucks:

Has a broken door and a little bit of a cracked face plate, but that's an easy fix and it will live inside a cabinet anyways (not a big fan of blackface mixed with silver faced). When I listen to CD's, I usually load up the 5 disc carousel and go about my chores. 50 discs should allow me to get a lot more done!

;)

then, for my 1229Q:

It still wears it's original idler and while it's still in pretty good shape, the wow numbers are a little high. Hoping to bring the numbers down a bit....

Just picked up this jobsite radio for "free" this morning. 2 batteries and charger for $99 and your choice of a free tool. I picked the radio.

Picked up a Marantz 3300 with a funky mode switch issue this afternoon, looking forward to getting it up and running.
Those are nice sounding preamps. I had a model 33 I restored. Both were Sheldon Hadley's first designs for Marantz. The mode switch and selectors can be a problem in these two preamps.

Most recent purchase was a Luxman power amp, M-113. It's not classic era (I have an R-1040 in the dining room that sounds really smooth) but is held in pretty high regard by some. Adding it in the mix has added a bit more extra-dimensionality to the sound of vinyl, so I've been enjoying it the past few months I've had it.

I restored one last year that was in nicer shape than this one and saw dollar signs and sold it… I plan on keeping this one. L+R and Reverse Stereo are both reverse Stereo, Stereo is mono unless you hold it just right, Left is silent, and right is working.

Currently running it my living room with my ST-70 and JBL L19’s on CD and DAC duty.

I ran my 33 with my ST-70 for awhile. It was a good match. Hadley did a good job of nailing the earlier Marantz house sound with these two preamps.
The 33 is supposed to sound pretty much the same as the 7T. The 3300 is hard to tell the difference between it and the 3300. I had a later model 3600 and didn't like it at all. It was rather sterile sounding compared to the earlier Marantz SS preamps. I restored a model 16 power amp too. Now you need to find a model 240 power amp to go with the 3300. :D
