What was the the last audio-related item you purchased?

I got a set of IsoAcoustics Gaia II isolation feet for my KEF R7 Meta speakers (ordered them last week before the tariff induced price hike- now $50 more per set than last week).
Immediately noticed a bit less but tighter bass and super clear mids/voices. Not a "Night and Day" difference like some equipment claims, just an overall better sound. Reviews seem to concur that these work best on hard flooring and I can agree with assessment.

I had had some cheap Parts Express 1" rubber feet on them as a placeholder (I would not use the KEF supplied spikes on my nice hardwood floor) until I could decide on something better.

Those are nice. I put Tekton felt feet on my NHT SuperTwo’s. Easy to slide around to get to where Roomba can’t reach. The bottom firing sub-woofer is right there flush with the bottom and unprotected. No place to be poking around with a swiffer.

i picked up a used monoprice monolith tube USB dac/headphone amp last month. its really a tube dac, not a solid state dac/amp with a gimmick tube thrown in. its got an ess dac chip. using output transformers, its got switchable impedance from 16ohms and up. it sounds great thru my stereo as a source component; its a bit syrupy thru my hifiman headphones but not thru some others.

I have a DBX branded one of those. I haven't used it yet. I was going to use it the same way you intend to. But then I was given several Crown amps with built in DSP.
Cool! I'd A/B test the DBX versus tthe internal DSP of the Crowns for sure. :)

I was given an AT-LP120XUSB TT by a friend who bought it a few months ago, then lost the cartridge, headshell, cuing light, power brick, and 45 rpm adapter. I found a power brick in my junk collection, and ordered two cartridges and headshells, and a tracking force scale. I also bought a spool of 14 ga. speaker wire- nice, flexible stuff!
