What we did this weekend

I had been keeping my gear and records on some old metal shelving supplemented with plywood. The wife griped for years so I broke down and got some Ikea Kellax or whatever it is called. It arrived Saturday morning and we spent the rest of the day assembling and moving stuff around. This is the set up now, however I ordered one more 2x2 cube to completely cover the wall.

The turntable is a Dual 1219 I restored myself. The amp is a Yamaha A 760 and the speakers are JBL 62T's. I have a set of JBL 2600 I took out of service as they are about to be replaced with some JBL LC310-1's.

We are washing most of the records using a Disco Antistat Record Washer. This is a less expensive clone of the Spin Clean. So far I have cleaned about 40 albums. This thing does a great job and I use a homemade cleaner.

I am quite pleased with the looks and sounds I am getting and look forward to your comments.

I have a Grado Prestige Green in the 1219 now but can switch to a Shure M97xe, a Shure 91. Shure 93 or an ATVS210 pretty quickly.

Thank you! I spent several hours alphabetizing and classifying the albums and culling a few that skipped. Included in the cull list are some artists I never listen too that came in some collections I picked up at the auction site.
