What will your New Year's Evening consist of?

Rockin and Rollin....
For us, my wife is making some tasty treats at the moment.. something with walnuts and Parmesan cheese, no idea what it is...

We've also got some really big ass shrimps we're gonna boil up, along with some great cheese sausage and crackers.

We picked up some great beer to drink, including a bottle of Deus! I can't wait to crack that open.. And of course a nice bottle of Champagne my wife's boss gave us at midnight (if our old asses make it that late... :D) He's got taste and knows good Champagne, so it should be nice!

I've got the Music Choice Retro Alternative channel playing, some Clash at the moment, and chasing it with a little Glenlevit for the time being...

Then we'll pull out a couple games, like Boggle or Monopoly....

Just an nice quite evening with two best friends hanging out enjoying each other's company! A fantastic way to end a really great year, and start another....

Is Dick Clark even doing that any more? Saw him a year or two ago, and he was looking pretty frail..

Waiting on some one to come pick up their PC. Then going to bed and try to sleep through my neighbors partying. The whole time wishing I was helping them. I have good neighbors.

There are a few guys out there who are just not allowed to die. Dick Clark is one. Hugh Hefner is another. Keith Richards is probably one as well. God bless em.

Going up to the old stomping grounds with the GF....try to stake out a decent spot, have a prime rib dinner, adult beverages, listen to the band play their same sets as last time, drink of the bubbly at midnight, then probably go home. :)

Board games and alcohol except for my tea-totaller girlfriend. We used to be club hoppers but decided we liked going out on the nights of the year where everybody else stays in, instead of when everybody who never goes out...goes out...like tonight.

Just me and my darling wife. We're grandparents now, so our common enjoyment of wine-tasting had to take an alternate course. She's abandoned it altogether, so this liter-and-a-half bottle of Cono Sur is for me only. Ironically, our nearest neighbours just left for the southern hemisphere; Its going to be a quiet one. I have a classical station playing softly in the background, later there'll be some good modern jazz on another station.
To go with my Vino Chileno I'll top a half avocado with salsa and some good anchovies from the italian store.

Gonna get good 'n' likkered up on Moonshine, load up The Mighty Valdez w/underage Sluts & Crack Hos, prolly shoot up the town a little, then head out to this Beer Hall on top of the mountain outside of Greeneville, heading to North Carolina. There, I'm gonna find the biggest, ugliest, stupidest-lookin' Redneck in the whole joint, slap the P*ss outta him just to get his attention, & then remark on how I think HIS mama is a Ho as well, how I'm pretty sure he Likes Boys, & how furthermore, everybody else in said Beer Hall is a Sumbich. After they chase me out into the Parking Lot, I'll chase THEM around it a la "Uneasy Rider".... In all reality, when Two-Oh-Ten gets here, I will have long since checked out & will be Sawing Logs beside Lauriann, as Partying Hearty just really doesn't do too much for me anymore. Except, maybe for the Crack Hos 'n' Underage Sluts....
 
cooking a huge pot (each) of chili and vegetable beef stew, watching college football and asskickings (mixed martial arts) on TV, and waiting for the phone to ring...my son recently turned 21, and if he and his girlfriend, or any of his friends simply must get somewhere, I'm the designated driver.
