What would be a fair price for a Lenco L75 turntable

Looking at picking up another Lenco L75.

It is in fairly good shape. The dust cover is not so good....has missing hinge and a crack in the top.
But the TT works well and comes with a working Pickering - 15 Phase IV

He has not set a price and only said "make me an offer"

I don't want to make an offer that is way too low.
What would be a good max price for this type of TT so I can get feel of where to go ?

Thanks

my first L75 was given to me by a good friend.

Base your offer on prices of recently sold L75s on eBay. Pros in your favor: you can personally inspect the unit and not pay shipping. Pros for the seller: no hassle of dealing with lousy bidders and no need to pack. Factor in those considerations in your offer so it becomes a win/win for both parties.

Good luck!

I press the seller to throw out a number. If he won’t, don’t be afraid to go low.. If you really want that table, just straight up tell him that you want to buy it, and that you want to come up with a price that is fair. Try to get a dialogue going. The make offer game is usually used by people that have no idea the price, or folks that are hoping to get a stupid offer. I probably wouldn’t offer more than $100-200 depending on tone arm, plinth, etc.

I would take into account that the table will need some level of servicing and offer accordingly.
