What would you do?

I currently have a Mcintosh C26 preamp and MR80 fm receiver that is going through a Dynaco ST 70. That is my current setup and it sounds very nice. I also have a Mcintosh MX110 that I am not using. I have decided to get rid of something and considering moving out the MX110. Or, should i move out the C26 and MR80 and keep the MX110?

I don't need 2 preamps or fm receivers

The MX110 is one of the nicer McIntosh preamps out there. I'm biased towards tubes, and would keep the MX110. Keep in mind that you may have to have it gone through at one point or another given the age of the unit and the nature of tube equipment.

If you have the MX110-Z, then it is likely the keeper of the group. That said, I'm keeping my MR80. As kensei has stated, any/all of them need to be 'refreshed' with a good cleaning, recap and tuner alignment by a knowledgeable tech with proper tuner alignment test gear to sound their best and be good for the next 30 years.

They Have all been gone through in the past 2 years. They are good to go.:thmbsp:

I would keep them all. Then I would add a good vintage Mcintosh amp to the group. Then you have two nice systems. How sweet is that? :thmbsp:
